Vietnam Recycles is the first free electronic waste take-back and recycling program, an alliance of electronics manufacturers was founded by HP and Apple in order to comply with the Prime Minister’s Decision No. 16/2015 on retrieval and disposal of discarded products and express the manufacturers’ responsibilities to the environment and community in take back and recycling of used or electronic devices in a safe, professional and environmentally-friendly manner.
All used electronic devices collected through this program will be safely processed in order to achieve maximum recovery rate of natural resources and ensure a professional electronic waste disposal process that meets the standards prescribed by regulations of environment law

– CPU Computers, Laptop
– CRT TV screen
– LCD TV screen
– Printers, fax machines, scanners
– Mobile phones, tablets
– Photocopiers
– LCD Televisions
– CRT Televisions
– DVD, VD, CD player and other players.
– Cameras and camcorders
– Electronic batteries of all kinds
– Other accessories related to information technology.

Household: Have at least one large device (for example: TV, Monitor, Computer, Printer, Fax machine, Scanner, Photocopier) or 10 other small electronic devices.
Note: Electronic battery all types are only counted as 1 device; each collection VR does not transport more than 50 small devices.

– The Company has at least 100kg of electronic waste.
– With at least 50% of HP or Apple products.
* E-waste are collected by hazardous waste truck and transported directly from the Company collection site to the treatment plant.
* The Company are provided with the e-waste treatment contract, hazardous waste documents and certificate of destruction (COD) according to “Circular No. 36 on Hazardous Waste Management”.

Volunteers will usually pickup e-waste on weekends. But if you need assistance during office hours, please inform Vietnam Recycles to arrange a collection day!

If there are only batteries, Vietnam Recycles cannot support you in collecting them on-site, but you can bring it to the nearest point of collection for disposal. The address of the points of collection is as follows:

After being collected, the discarded electronic devices will be sent to hazardous waste treatment plants, the device will be sorted by each type of material. Recoverable components such as plastic, copper, metal etc… will be delivered to the recycling facility. The remaining hazardous wastes generated in the devices will sent to the specialized hazardous waste treatment system to be treated in a safe and environmentally-friendly manner.
